Without a vision, the Bible says, the people will fall all over themselves. Really. It’s in there. (Proverbs 28:19) The bottom line is, if we don’t have a clear idea of where we’re supposed to be going, we’ll end up scattering, going off course as a group, or just standing still and scratching our heads. Biblically strong leaders aren’t afraid to point to the finish line and cast a vision for how to get there.
A vision clearly cast shows you the finish line and routes out the path to get there. And if we properly cast a vision for our team, group, or ministry, we’ll arrive at the planned destination. But if we don’t, we run the risk of ending up somewhere we never meant to go.
Have you ever been a part of an organization that got off track? I have. Let’s not go there again! Instead, let’s learn to cast a vision, as leaders, so we all successfully reach our chosen destinations.
I hope you’ll give me just 14 minutes to offer you 9 helpful tips that will ensure you lead your team or ministry to the chosen destination…instead of some default land 🙂
Do you have some additional ideas for casting a clear vision so your group arrives safely at its chosen destination this year? We’d love it if you would share.
This is great stuff, Kay. Thanks. I wouldn't usually listen to a 15 min video clip – but this was so good the time flew. LOL
